2. Financial Aid

With the support of a number of individuals and organizations, CCIT is able to provide a limited number of full and partial scholarships to students those who are in need of financial assistance. Full scholarships cover tuition, messing, hostel and miscellaneous expenses (do not cover travelling costs).

The academic year is divided into two semesters of 16 weeks each, starting June and ending middle March. The curriculum is planned to meet the situation and need of the church and society in Myanmar.

Our curriculum is constructed around three principles:

  1. Courses on History of Asian Churches and Theology are given to acquaint the student not only with the local scene but also with his heighboring countries in Asia.
  2. Practical courses are given to equip the student with the ability to apply himself/herself to concrete situations.
  3. Field education is an essential part of the total program of theological education: to help the student personally experience the Christian ministry by being given the opportunity to apply the theories and ideas he/she has learnt in the classroom; to help him/her develop his/her own experience; to help him/her grow spiritually and morally as he/she identifies himself/herself with the people in their struggle and responds to the realities of the church in the world.
